COMPANY: Lucky Mojo
TYPE: Sandalwood
FORM: Incense
NOTES: So I knew this was going to be kind of a generic wood-chip base with sandalwood oil poured over it, as opposed to pure sandalwood or anything like that; but I was looking for a self-lighting powder on that single note of fragrance. To my disappointment though, there's not much sandalwood scent in this at all. I had to pour several spoonfuls of my own sandalwood fragrance onto the stuff to cover the wood-shop sawdust stench -- to the point where just buying real sandalwood and adding a little saltpeter actually might have been more cost effective.
RATING: 2 out of 10. Probably fine if you don't actually care about the smell and just want something with a token amount of sandalwood in it, but if you hoped your incense might contain a recognizable perfume of sandalwood you'll need something else.

Have you tried any of the new Hoodoo Roots powder or oild products? Some of them can be found on etsy.com: http://www.etsy.com/search/handmade?q=hoodooroots
They're all natural, no synthetic fragrances. Powerful and sublime. The White Bath is amazing.
You might also like the Hoodoo line of products from Serpent's Kiss: http://serpents-kiss.com/products-main.html?page=shop.browse&category_id=49 Talented workers make these, effective and precise. They also have their own line of mojo hands and sprays to feed with.
